Equal Justice Initiative is a non-profit organization located in Montgomery, Alabama, and founded in 1989 by Bryan Stevenson.
They provide legal representation to people who have been illegally convicted, unfairly sentenced, or abused in state jails and prisons. EJI is also on the front lines of fighting the death penalty.
The goal of this project was to emphasize prison reform and advertise the life-changing work that Equal Justice Initiative does to help the incarcerated. Their specific call to action is to end the death penalty and raise awareness for their own organization.
